몇일전에 내가 우리회사의 환불률이 0%라고 한적이 있다. 몇몇사람들은 사실은 0.45%정도인데 내가 그냥 쉽게 반올림/반내림 해버린거라고 생각했을것이다.
하지만, 0이다. 진짜 0이다!
그런데, 이거 쓰자마자, 어떤 영리하신 분이 우리 제품 환불신청을 했다고 한다.
Now, a long time ago, 한참전에, 신용카드 처리기의 온라인 시스템의 I wrote some custom software to screen-scrape our credit card processor's online information system, and reconciles the transactions it finds there with QuickBooks, where we do the rest of our bookkeeping.
So today, for the first time in the history of that app running, it finds a chargeback on the statement, and doesn't know what to do with it. So it stops and says, "Unrecognized entry: I don't know what account VISA CHARGEBACK should be posted to."
결국 우린 그 소프트웨어를 고쳐야만 했다. 그리고 그게 우리 회사에서는 환불이 오늘 이날까지 절대 없었다는것을 아는 이유다.
